The Major House
PROJECT OVERVIEW
The Major House was built in 1850 in the heritage community of Whitevale, Pickering Ontario Canada. Dave was the Project Manager, and lead carpenter to remodel and renovate the 3,200 square foot heritage farm house, and 3 car 2 story dethatched garage. We collaborated with Duy Nguyen of Ncubed architecture to add a master suite addition while completely gutting and remodeling the interior and exterior from the basement to the second story. We had to present the new design to the heritage committee and get approval to remodel this heritage home. The Major House was successfully renovated and was featured on the cover of ‘Our Homes’ Magazine.
